2024 Trend predictions
Peach Fuzz
Images from Pinterest
Pantone announced earlier in December that the color of the year for 2024 would be βPeach Fuzzβ. At first we were skeptical, maybe because peach doesnβt really flatter our skintones, but then it started growing on us when we made this mood board. We think the key to trying this trend will be finding the shade of peach that flatters your skintone. Darker, olive skintones should lean toward apricot shades, while lighter skintones can lean into more pinky, baby peach shades.

BALLETCORE
All images from Pinterest
Maybe it was the Barbiecore craze in 2023 or a total 180 from the more tailored, masculine looks weβve been seeing, but we think 2024 will see a return of super girly accessories, so weβre calling it balletcore. Think bows, ballet flats (yes, theyβre still in!), lace, soft pinks, tulle, ruffles, and feminine silhouettes. These will be balanced out by masculine touches like leather, metallics, chunky sneakers, and baggy jeans. Itβs more of a ballet grunge feel!

LEOPARD

Weβve always loved leopard and donβt think itβs ever βinβ or βoutβ but have been seeing it more often in stores lately. You can treat leopard as a neutral and add it in small doses to any outfit for a funky flair.

Pop of Red
All images from Pinterest
We donβt think this βtrendβ is going anywhere anytime soon! Add a pop of red to your look for French girl chic vibes. An additional note on this oneβ¦ we were watching White Christmas the other day and noticed that Betty wore a red scarf in one of the scenes. In the same scene Judy had on a buttery yellow coat with leopard accessories. Itβs crazy how cyclical trends are. They always, always come back around! Donβt let us or any marketing fool you into making a large purchase you donβt love just to stay on trend. If you really love it, itβs worth the investment because youβll wear it no matter what. If youβre on the fence, then go with an affordable option to try the trend. Then you can see if you like it enough to make an investment.
